01
You send the cut, a logline or just a reference. I reply within 24 hours with an honest read on scope, deadline and a fixed quote.
02
Before a full score exists, you hear the theme — the melodic idea the whole film will hang on — so direction is agreed early.
03
Cues are written to picture and shared as they land, so nothing arrives as a surprise at the end.
04
Final mixes plus stems, delivered in the formats your edit and sound mix need. Two revisions and unlimited small tweaks included.
Real directors, real films — and a cue you can hear right now.
Excellent work! He scored my whole 10 minute film in only 10 days! He made incredible music and completely understood the emotion behind each scene. Excellent composer!

Read the case studyIndie films start at £150, short film scores from £400, and features or larger complex projects from £900. Every project gets a fixed written quote once we've talked through runtime, cue count and deadline — no hourly surprises.
Indie films (up to 10 minutes) are delivered within 14 days, short films of 12–30 minutes within 28 days, and features typically take 1.5 to 3 months. If your deadline is tighter, tell me and I'll say honestly whether it's possible.
Samples — but not the kind you're imagining. I write with over £4,000 of industry-standard sample libraries and equipment: the same tools used by award-winning composers such as Rupert Gregson-Williams (Hacksaw Ridge). Every line is performed and shaped by hand, so the result sounds cinematic rather than programmed.
Two full revisions on every package — a revision being a genuine rewrite or change of direction for a cue. Small tweaks (levels, timing, an instrument swap, a nudge against a re-cut) are unlimited and always free. I'd rather get it right than get it signed off.
You get a perpetual licence to use the score in your film across all media. I keep the underlying copyright and publishing, which is standard practice — full buyouts are available and quoted separately.
